State Rep. Jeff Bridges
Jeff grew up in the district and went to Littleton Public Schools K-12, graduating from Arapahoe High School. Today, his parents still live there, and so does his aunt, uncle, cousins, grandma, in-laws, and many friends old and new. That is the place that made him the person he is today and taught him his Colorado values of opportunity, independence, and responsibility.
Jeff understand the concerns of our community because he grew up there. He knows the High Line Canal because he played there as a kid. And he knows our public schools because he was student there. But he’s also worked with people from across the entire state, from the San Luis Valley, the Western Slope, the Eastern Plains, and all along the Front Range. That’s why he’ll be able to build diverse coalitions with folks from all around the state in order to pass legislation that benefits his community.
He also has a Master’s of Divinity degree from Harvard. It’s one of the most religiously diverse schools in the country with people of all faiths and none, which means he knows how to bring diverse groups of people together around shared values—whatever the source of those values. Jeff believes absolutely in the separation of church and state, and also in the impossibility of separating values and public policy.
